Our beautiful 18-hole championship golf course offers a challenging yet relaxing escape for our members. We also offer a driving range, putting green, and a chipping area.
Golf Course Hours
The golf course is open Tuesday through Sunday and closed on Monday. On occasion, the course will be open on Monday for special tournaments and events.
A hidden gem in the Midwest, we take pride in our beautiful golf course. It would not be possible without Dallas Baldwin, Adam Pirtle, and their golf course crew. Dallas has been the Golf Course Superintendent at SCC for nearly 40 years and is a member of the Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America.

Our golf shop offers a wide selection of golf attire and equipment for both men and women. Our courteous staff is ready to assist you!

The Golf Pro Shop hours vary depending on the season. From April to October, the shop is open 8 AM to 7 PM every day but is closed on Mondays. From November to March, the shop is open 10 AM to dusk on Tuesdays through Fridays and 9 AM to dusk on Saturdays and Sundays.
Attire
Proper golf attire is required on the golf course and practice range at all times.
Driving Range
The driving range hours of operation will fluctuate with the hours of daylight. It will open when the Golf Shop opens and close at dusk. On Sundays, the driving range will close 2 hours before dark to clean pick for mowing. Balls will be set-up at all times during the golf season. Members who pay an annual range membership fee to hit unlimited range balls may do so without coming into the Golf Shop. Those members who do not have a season range membership must come to the Golf Shop and sign a ticket for range balls.

Bag Storage
For member’s convenience, the Golf Shop can take care of and store your golf clubs. The clubs are set out for play prior to each round and cleaned when you are finished. This service is available for a minimal fee of $75 annually. Please inquire at the Golf Shop for this service.
Locker Rental
SCC has newly renovated locker rooms for both men and women in the clubhouse. Private lockers are available for an annual fee.

Golf carts are available for members and their guests. Drivers must be 16 years of age

Golf Handicaps
Our club offers the GHIN system for calculating your handicap. If you have had a
handicap in the past, you are automatically in the system. Contact the Golf Shop to get your GHIN Number today!
Tee Times
Tee times are recommended on weekends, holidays, and days set aside for tournament practice rounds. While tee times are not required, players with tee times are given precedence over those with no reservations. Tee times may be arranged by calling the Golf Shop at (660)826-2230 no more than 2 weeks in advance.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available for men, women, and juniors. Our golf staff will be happy to schedule your private lessons by calling or coming by the Golf Shop.

Junior Golf Program
The Sedalia Country Club golf staff provides a Junior Golf Academy each summer, with instruction covering the golf swing, golf course care, proper etiquette, and rules. The program also includes competitions and play days. The summer program concludes with an awards pool party. Please pick up a Junior Golf Packet from the Golf Shop.
Golf Outings
If you are considering a company golf tournament or charitable golf event, please contact Loel for an application and submit requests prior to January 15 for the coming year. All special golf outings are welcome but subject to availability and approval by the Board of Directors.
Guests
Guests are allowed to play the Sedalia Country Club golf course but must follow all SCC policies and guidelines. Guest fees are:

In order to qualify for the $50 rate, the guest(s) must be accompanied on the golf course by a member.

Each In-County Guest is restricted to three rounds per year.
*All fees include a one-hour range session
Any member bringing an allowable guest to play on a Monday must sign a guest fee ticket prior to that day.
Trail Fees
Members who use their own golf carts on the golf course are required to pay an annual “trail fee”. This fee is billed in March and must be paid before the cart is permitted on the course. The fee for 2023 is $425.

Policies and Guidelines
- All guests must be registered with the Golf Shop prior to play.
- All play is to begin on hole #1 unless authorized by the Golf Shop staff.
- Proper golf attire is required on the golf course and practice range at all times.
- Groups are limited to 5 players or less.
- Each player must have a bag and clubs.
- No more than 2 persons and 2 sets of clubs shall ride on a cart unless authorized by the Golf Shop staff.
- Please keep golf cars at least 30 feet from the greens and tees.
- Please observe signage on #1 and #10 tees for the golf cart restrictions for that day.
- Please repair all ball marks on the greens.
- No play is allowed until 12 PM on Monday unless otherwise authorized by the Golf Professional Staff
- Thursday mornings during the golf season are reserved for Ladies. Men may not tee off before 12 noon.
- Junior Play is regulated by the Golf Professional Staff. Please have your child check in with the staff before he or she plays.
